DAILY PRACTICES
Our group believes that each day is an opportunity to discover new things about our true nature.
Every morning when we wake up, we sit and meditate to empty our minds of ideas and beliefs.
When we finish our meditation we start with some breathing exercises and soft martial arts movements to prepare the body for the new day.
We have breakfast around 8:30 am, after, we talk about the different methods of spirituality and the problems that each student may encounter inside of his or her own practice.
After talking, we do some communal work for about an hour (cooking, cleaning, cultivating or whatever is needed).
After this we have free time to take a shower, have a rest or learn a little about basic healing massage until lunch time, around 12:00 pm. After lunch we rest until the evening practice.
In the early evening, after having a cup of tea, our Muay Sangha training starts at 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
At 7:00 pm dinner is served. After dinner on some days of the week we may watch a spiritual movie or talk about interesting subjects around the fire, then return to our rooms, do some meditation and rest until the next morning.
